RACE 1
1.00pm John Paraskevas Plate 1000m
Speed: Even
Most advantaged: Just behind pace

7. KEY EVIDENCE
Won a slow trial on 9/11 by a neck, she was held the whole way.

5. THEANSWERMYFRIEND
Second in a fast trial on 9/11, he looks to have quality.

12. VEGAS STRIP
By Snitzel. She won an 800m trial on 10/11.

MAIN DANGER
3. LEGERITY
Wayne Hawkes has said he’s under the odds but his Dam seemed to have some class about her. He is by Snitzel.

RACE 2
1.35pm McMahon’s Dairy Handicap 1200m
Speed: Fast
Most advantaged: Off pace

9. DIVINE MR ARTIE
This race should pan out to his advantage. The speed will be on and he will be running on. He ran on for 2nd last start at this track. That was in the same class and the extra 200m here can only help.

3. WELL SIGHTED
He stays at 1200m but is freshened up here. Running evenly and may just be ready. This is easier than his last two starts which were black type.

4. FAATINAH
Not bad in Listed company two starts ago then went back to 1000m last time. He goes to 1200m here and it should suit, he should get a nice trail just behind the pace without having to push too hard.

MAIN DANGER
2. LES DARCI (NZ)
He is proven at the track and distance. The speed should pan out well for him and he could take some catching. He was okay in Listed company on a wet track last start, his stats on a Good track are much better.

RACE 3
2.10pm WeDrive.com.au Your Car Handicap 1200m
Speed: Even
Most advantaged: Just behind pace

1. NAUTICAL
She has a good record at the track and distance. She ran okay last start on the heavy track after the downpour on Oaks day in Group company and ran well in the Black Pearl previously. This is easier but she does go up to 60kg.

4. CATCH THAT CAT
She has a fantastic record at the track and the distance. She also came from the Group race on Oaks day. A dry track here suits her better and she will be up near the speed.

2. SINO EAGLE
Proven at the track and distance. She has a fantastic first up record and won a recent jump out. With the tempo slow, she should be up near the leaders and could be hard to catch.

MAIN DANGER
3. WHISTLE BABY
She has won first up but may need this run. Look for her when she gets to 1400m.

RACE 4
2.45pm Slickpix Handicap 2500m
Speed: Slow
Most advantaged: On pace

5. MASTER ZEPHYR (GB)
First start under Weir last time for a good win! Both runs in Australia have been here and he looks a good chance. There is no speed in the race and he’ll be up there. He drops down to 54kg and barrier 4 is ideal.

6. SURE YOU CAN (NZ)
She sat off the speed last start in the Matriarch and ran soundly but just couldn’t catch the very classy winner in Lucia Valentina. She goes out to 2500m here but drops down in grade. With a slow tempo here she could sit closer and may just be too good.

4. IMPERIAL LASS (NZ)
She also came out of the Lucia Valentina race where she dropped right off after being on pace. She has Winx form from the Group 1 QLD Oaks. That can’t be ignored

MAIN DANGER
3. CRIME FIGHTER
Racing okay lately but this is his track. Blinkers go on here.

RACE 5
3.25pm Strathmore FC 2005 Premiers Handicap 1600m
Speed: Even
Most advantaged: Just behind pace

3. MIHALIC
She was very good in Listed company last start where she got the perfect run. She drops down in grade here and only goes up 0.5kg. She should get the perfect trail here with an even pace.

1. FLYING LIGHT
Running okay in harder races lately and the speed here should suit.

5. LITTLE BITA SPUNK
He’s flying this prep though they have been easier races. He won his maiden two starts ago then went on to win again here. He stays light in the weights with the claim.

MAIN DANGER
4. UNBREAKABLE
Running well and recorded a big 4.2L win last start in a BM64. This is obviously harder but on that run he can be competitive here. C Williams jumps on board.

RACE 6
4.05pm Ranvet Handicap 1600m
Speed: Fast
Most advantaged: Off pace

1. SADAQA
He generally runs well here and has a good record at the distance (12: 2-5-0). His average run two starts back in group company was on a Soft 5. He will be up near the pace and could prove too good and hard to catch.

3. GOLDEN MANE
Only average when resuming last start but he did jump from barrier 14. He gets out to a better distance here and the claim helps.

9. BELORUM
He ran well three starts back in a harder class and only okay the last two runs. He has won here and staying at 1600m is fine, he should be fitter from running it last time.

MAIN DANGER
11. CLUB STAR
He’s flying this prep. This is harder especially jumping from a wide barrier but on his 3L win last start he will be competitive.

RACE 7
4.45pm City Jeep Handicap 1000m
Speed: Fast
Most advantaged: Off pace

4. LONROCKSTAR
Very good field here. He has a great first up record and had only ran outside the top 3 once at the 1000m. He will relish the dry ground and the fast pace looks to suit him perfectly. He rarely runs bad.

1. CHURCHILL DANCER
He’s flying this prep if you take out his last run which was on a Soft track. This is easier than the last three Group 2 fields he’s run in (including a win!). The claim helps with the big weight here and drawing an inside barrier is ideal.

6. GRANE
His record at this track and distance is hard to ignore (5 : 1-2-1) and he drops 6.5kg with the claim. The fast speed will suit him if they’re running on.

MAIN DANGER
9. TRVINDER
Good win last start at 955m here. He runs best at the valley. A lot of the runners in this race have group form but he is a light weight each way chance and will be at decent odds.

RACE 8
5.25pm 1Print Handicap 1500m
Speed: Slow
Most advantaged: On pace

7. SEA SPRAY
She ran well two starts back  here then was good against the boys last go with 58kg. She drops down to 55kg here. The speed may be against her if she’s too far back but she has the class to win, she ran well in Group 1 company last prep.

9. MELALEUCA
She has won first up and gets back to a better distance here with light weight.

3. AMPLE ON OFFA
She’s going well this prep minus the disqualification for weighing in light two runs back. She won well last time out and this is harder but she can go on. She stays down light in the weights with the claim.
MAIN DANGER
8. BET YOU SHE ROCKS
She generally runs well here and has a good record at the 1500m. She will be a danger if she sits up near the speed from the inside barrier.

RACE 9
6.00pm William Hill Handicap 1200m
Speed: Even
Most advantaged: Just behind pace

2. NICOSCENE
His record at the track and distance cannot be ignored (6: 3-1-2). He comes back from Listed grade and drops 2.5kg with the claim. Forgive his first up run, that was on the heavy Oaks Day track and down the straight at Flemington. The speed will suit him and he will be hard to beat.

6. TUDOR
He has a good record at the track and distance and is only carrying 54kg with the claim. He’s going well this prep minus the heavy run which not many seemed to handle! The wide barrier isn’t the best but he has time to get across.

12. KIEVANN
His record at the track and distance (7: 3-0-0) along with his second up record (5: 2-0-0) may just mean he’s too good here. This is obviously harder here but he is a chance with only 52.5kg.
MAIN DANGER

1. GENERAL GROOVE
He has first up form and is proven at the track and distance. He only had a short prep last time but has run second in Group 3 company previously.
