Race 1
6.45pm ADAPT Australia Handicap 1500m
Speed: Even
Most advantaged: Just behind pace

4. ABOHAR
She ran well in group company last start and will appreciate the lower grade here. She jumps from barrier 2 and will sit midfield. With the even pace she should be hard to beat.
1. EXTRA NOBLE

3. TUFF HOST

MAIN DANGER
9. PREPEE
She was good back in January behind Anaphora then won well at odds last start. C.Parish rode in both of those and stays on here. She will be on the pace and could take some running down.

Race 2
7.15pm Jeep Tour of Victoria Middle Distance Final 2040m
Speed: Even
Most advantaged: Just behind pace

3. WORD OF MOUTH
He was ridden upside down last start and I don’t believe he handled the clockwise change of direction. Put a pen through that run. He has a good record at 2040m. He ran a good second in BM90 grade two starts ago with light weight and will go close on that effort. He carries 59.5kg here with the drop down to BM78.

2. SCELTO (NZ)

4. FIREHOUSE ROCK

MAIN DANGER
6. ZAHSPEED
He’s in form and gets a slight weight relief here with the step up in class. He does look the leader here though he has drawn wide and he may prove hard to catch again.

Race 3
7.45pm Ascent Sales Trophies Premium Plate 1200m
Speed: Fast
Most advantaged: Off pace

1. KEEN ARRAY
He does go up sharply in the weights here but he will find this a lot easier than the Newmarket! He is third up here and has a good record at 1200m. There does look to be a bit of speed in this race and from barrier 8 I would say he will sit midfield. He was only 1.5L off Japonisme in the Coolmore.

7. STELLAR COLLISION

3. DEMONSTRATE

MAIN DANGER
2. WELL SPRUNG
He has a good record here at 1200m. He does sneak up in the weights but has drawn well to get a good trail behind the leaders.

Race 4
8.15pm Art Series Hotel Group Alexandra Stakes 1600m
Speed: Even
Most advantaged: Just behind pace

4. LAZUMBA
He looked really good winning at Flemington on 5/3 and appeared to have more left in the tank. He is third up here and though this is a step up he can go on.
8. THAMES COURT

2. JACQUI’S JOY (NZ)

MAIN DANGER
6. LABDIEN
She was good behind the classy Badawiya in the Kewney and will find this easier. 1600m looks like it will suit and she should get a good trail midfield.

Race 5
8.45pm Jeep 55 Second Challenge Heat 16 955m
Speed: Fast
Most advantaged: Off pace

9. BEAU RADA
He has a good record at 955m and generally runs here. There looks to be quite a bit of pace here. He will be off the speed and should prove too good.

2. SHEIDEL

7. BULLPIT

MAIN DANGER
3. GRANE
955m at Moonee Valley is his go – he has only finished outside the trifecta twice from 7 starts. He is in light after the claim and the fast pace will suit. He has to be included.

Race 6
9.15pm Mitchelton Wines William Reid Stakes 1200m
Speed: Even
Most advantaged: Just behind pace

10. HOLLER
He is flying. James McDonald stays on, he has the strongest form on him. He is unbeaten at 1200m here from two starts. He has drawn barrier 7 and looks the one to beat.

9. JAPONISME

7. GREGERS

MAIN DANGER
1. LUCKY HUSSLER
He is in form and is third up here. He has a strong record at 1200m and has drawn well. He is so consistent and will no doubt be running on strongly.

Race 7
9.45pm William Hill Sunline Stakes 1600m
Speed: Even
Most advantaged: Just behind pace

1. FENWAY
She comes back to Mares grade here and is flying. She has drawn wide but will appreciate the drop in class. She was very good in the Peter Young two starts back against the boys then was good again in the Group 1 Australia Stakes.

5. CHOOSE

9. FELICIENNE

MAIN DANGER
3. WAWAIL
She runs well here and the blinkers seem to be doing the trick. Damien Oliver stays on from her Treddady win and she has drawn well. This is a step up in class but on her Tressady run she will be competitive.

Race 8
10.15pm City Jeep Handicap 1200m
Speed: Even
Most advantaged: Just behind pace

7. NULLEI
He stays at 1200m and this is his go. He was good in BM84 grade and will appreciate the drop in class here. The even pace will suit and he will be running on.

3. BOB’S HOPE
6. CAPRESE
MAIN DANGER
9. HEZA RIPPER (NZ)
He is unbeaten from his two first up starts and runs well at 1200m. He was ridden upside down last start and couldn’t sustain his speed. He should sit further off the speed here.
