Race 1
1.00pm Mornington BMW Cup Prelude 2000m
Speed: Even
Most advantaged: Just behind pace

4. TASHBEEH
He is going well and there’s no reason why he can’t keep up that form. He ran well here a fortnight ago and the step up to 2000m suits. The even speed will suit him, he will sit just off the pace.
9. RADICAL
He has a good record here and was good here two runs ago with Glen Boss on, he retains the ride here. He gets weight relief and has drawn well with barrier 1.

8. ASSIGN (IRE)
He drops 8kg here and has second up form. This is harder after his BM78 win a fortnight ago but he has drawn well and will be up on the speed.

MAIN DANGER
6. TUSCAN FIRE
He is a rising 10 year old but still has form! He dead heated with Radical a month ago when second up. Luke Currie stays on from that win.

Race 2
1.37pm Ladbrokes Zeditave Stakes 1200m
Speed: Even
Most advantaged: Just behind pace

3. PURITAN
He returned in good fashion winning the Manfred under SWP conditions which he meets here. He meets a similar field here and Nick Hall stays on. He has been competitive in Group 2 company, he will be running on strongly.

6. MOGADOR
He has drawn poorly here but ran well in Group 1 company last prep. He has a great first up record and has been trialling well.

5. BASSETT (NZ)
He has a good record here and is unbeaten first up. He was only 0.4L off Mahuta in black type last prep. The dry track here suits him better.

MAIN DANGER
7. EL GRECO
He ran on strongly in two races under SWP conditions last prep and previously ran on well with big weights. He is well weighted here and should sit midfield from an inside barrier.

Race 3
2.12pm Polytrack Angus Armanasco Stakes 1400m
Speed: Even
Most advantaged: Just behind pace

4. MOSSIN’ AROUND
She was good against males a fortnight ago and comes back to fillies grade here. The blinkers come back off and she will sit just behind the speed.

1. PASADENA GIRL (NZ)
She has a good first up record and ran well behind Stay With Me when first up last prep. She has drawn well and will be running on.

7. EGYPT
She almost caused an upset last week in a hot Group 3 race! Craig Williams stays on, she is in form and must be included in multiples.

MAIN DANGER
5. CANA
She ran well behind a talented one a fortnight ago and this looks slightly easier. She is third up here and will get an easy run on the pace from barrier 2.

Race 4
2.47pm Ladbrokes Caulfield Autumn Classic 1800m
Speed: Fast
Most advantaged: Off pace

8. TALLY
He is unbeaten this prep and all wins have come on a dry track. The fast pace will suit him, he will be off the speed. He ran well in Group 2 company last prep.

11. CHARLEVOIX
His debut win was impressive from the tail of the field. He looks talented, Mark Zahra stays on.

7. HARDERN
He has been running consistently and wasn’t bad when stepping back in distance here a fortnight ago. He goes up to 1800m which he is untried at but he will be running on.

MAIN DANGER
2. FLYING LIGHT
He is in form and I don’t see the step back to 1800m being any problem. The wide barrier may be against him but he has to be included and should sit just behind the leaders.

Race 5
3.25pm Crown Golden Ale Peter Young Stakes 1800m
Speed: Slow
Most advantaged: On pace

4. IVANHOWE (GER)
He has a good first up record and ran well in the Caulfield Cup finishing 3rd. The 59kg shouldn’t bother him, he carried 60kg when he finished second in the Bart Cummings. The slow speed may be against him but he has the class to be competitive.

9. HE OR SHE
He runs well here and has an almost flawless second up record. He resumed well behind a consistent one but this is harder. He gets a big weight under WFA but has drawn well with barrier 4.

1. FAWKNER
He likes Caulfield but has drawn horribly. I can’t ignore his second up record though (7: 4-2-0) and he gets to a more suitable distance here.

MAIN DANGER
13. FENWAY
She has won second up. She was good in the Group 1 Myer Classic last prep, that was under WFA conditions which she meets here. The step up to 1800m suits.

Race 6
4.05pm Italktravel Futurity Stakes 1400m
Speed: Even
Most advantaged: Just behind pace

3. TURN ME LOOSE
He resumed well in the C.F. Orr and his second up record is almost perfect. He won the Crystal Mile in WFA conditions well last prep. He has drawn wide here but will be up on the pace. There looks to be even speed here and he may take some running down.

10. SUAVITO (NZ)
She runs well here and 1400m is her go! She will be midfield from a good barrier and will be running on.

4. HUCKLEBUCK
He is third up here and was good a fortnight ago where he drew the carpark. He has drawn much better with barrier 4 here and will sit closer. He generally runs well at WFA.

MAIN DANGER
11. POLITENESS
She resumed well behind a smart one a fortnight ago. She likes Caulfield but has no wins from 8 tries at 1400m. She is fit and cannot be left out.

Race 7
4.45pm Ladbrokes Blue Diamond Stakes 1200m
Speed: Fast
Most advantaged: Off pace

1. EXTREME CHOICE
He has drawn poorly but showed huge potential winning the Group 3 Chairman’s Stakes by 4.5L. From the wider barrier he should sit just behind the leaders and will be a very strong chance. I don’t see the step up to 1200m being a problem.

11. CONCEALER
She ran on very well from the tail of the field a fortnight ago here in fillies grade. She has drawn well.

3. FLYING ARTIE
He took a bit of time to wind up in the Blue Diamond Prelude (C+G) which he went on to win and will be smarter for the run.

MAIN DANGER
10. SAMARA DANCER (NZ)
She was strong in the Blue Diamond Prelude (F) and comes against the boys here. She has drawn better here.

Race 8
5.22pm Clamms Seafood Oakleigh Plate 1100m
Speed: Fast
Most advantaged: Off pace

16. HEATHERLY
She absolutely controlled and dominated in the Rubiton a fortnight ago. This is a step up in class but she gets in light with 50kg and has drawn well with barrier 2. She will be up on the speed and there looks to be pace here but she can overcome that.

11. THE QUARTERBACK
He ran on well in the Kensington and gets a big weight drop here, down to 52.5kg. He has a strong second up record and the fast pace will suit him. He’s at big odds and has a case here.

7. BOUNDING
She has never run outside the top two when resuming and has been trialling well. She has drawn well and will get a good run just behind the pace. She has a good record at 1100m.

MAIN DANGER
3. FAST ‘N’ ROCKING
He has been so consistent since being gelded and runs well at Caulfield. He was only 1.8L off Buffering last prep. He has drawn for a soft run and expect him to be running on at big odds.

Race 9
6.00pm Premier Signs Mannerism Stakes 1400m
Speed: Fast
Most advantaged: Off pace

3. TUSCAN SLING
She was impressive in the Bellmaine here a fortnight ago. She runs well at Caulfield and draws well. Brad Rawiller stays on and she will sit front of midfield and could take some running down.

10. AZKABELLIA (NZ)
She ran on well as usual behind Tuscan Sling and will be fitter for the run. She has drawn wide but has a good record at 1400m.

1. MISS ROSE DE LAGO
She is unbeaten from 3 runs here and is proven first up. She was so consistent last prep, take out her last run on a soft track. She is at big odds and has to be included.

MAIN DANGER
9. MOSSBEAT
She is so consistent and has drawn for a good run here, she will sit a big closer and is a great each way chance at big odds. She has a 60% place strike rate and the step up to 1400m suits. Expect her to be running home strongly.
